These young stars have been called up to their national team

There are a lot of interesting young players who might try to push their entrance into the ambitions of international managers during the March international break. A number of the current generation of players may have experienced their final World Cup competition and represented their national team.

Top five players that can earn the first cap in this international window are listed below.

5. Romeo Lavia

Romeo Lavia, a midfielder for Southampton, has been selected for the first time by Belgium for their forthcoming European Championship qualifying matches. The 19-year-old youngster was expected to qualify for the World Cup last year, but an injury kept him out of play from August through November.

Once the Red Devils play Germany or Sweden later this month, Lavia may make his team debut. Lavia often competes for his nation in young international competitions. The hosts of the 2024 event, Germany, will play a friendly match against Belgium on March 28 after travelling to Sweden on March 24. This is because the hosts have already qualified for the tournament.

4. Victor Roque

Other European teams have expressed interest in Roque, but Barcelona are reportedly leading the battle to sign the Brazilian. The wunderkind, dubbed "the new Ronaldo," is predicted to become one of the finest in the world. And he said Barcelona would be a great place to develop in an article with the Spanish daily Sport. The attacker will continue to grow at Athletico Paranaense for the time being, but it appears that a move to Europe is not far off. He may even get his first international call-up.

3. Andrey Santos

At the age of 18, Andrey Santos was selected for the very first time in his professional life to Brazil's 23-man team. On March 25, the Selecao takes on Morocco in a worldwide exhibition match.

Last week, the midfielder returned on loan to his former team Vasco de Gama to compete in his home Brazil. The loan is due on June 30, 2023. Santos has featured in success on the global stage since joining Chelsea. He struck against Uruguay in the South American Under-20 Championship championship game for Brazil. As the team's captain, Santos tied for the tournament's most goals with six.

2. Khéphren Thuram

Didier Deschamps, the head coach of France, called up brothers Khéphren and Marcus Thuram on Thursday in preparation for the country's forthcoming qualifiers against the Netherlands and Ireland.

They are the children of legendary France defender Lilian Thuram, who teamed up with Deschamps to win the European Championship in 2000 and the World Cup in 1998. Lucas and Théo Hernandez, along with attacker Marcus Thuram, represented France at the World Cup in Qatar last year. This is the second time Deschamps has chosen brothers in his team.

1. Gonçalo Inácio

This afternoon in the Cidade do Futebol, the new Seleço coach Roberto Martnez unveiled his initial roster for the forthcoming Euro 2024 qualifier against Liechtenstein and Luxembourg. Gonçalo Inácio, a central defender for Sporting, is also selected.

Inácio played for Portugal at the under-17, under-18, under-19, under-20, and under-21 levels, earning a total of 19 caps. Fernando Santos named him up to the national squad on August 26, 2021, for games against Azerbaijan and the Republic of Ireland in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers as well as a friendly against Qatar. He might make his senior squad breakthrough, but this is also his opportunity to earn his first cap for his country.
