UCL 2022-23: Which teams have qualified for the Quarterfinals?

Real Madrid and Napoli defeated Liverpool and Eintracht Frankfurt respectively on Wednesday.

All of the teams who have advanced to the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League (UCL) have been revealed, and the round of 16 saw many intriguing matches that determined the final eight teams.

We also have some underdogs, such as Napoli and Benfica. Napoli created history by reaching the Champions League quarterfinals for the first time ever. Many huge teams have already been eliminated from the competition.

The clubs that have advanced to the next round are listed below:

Who has registered the most goals in the UEFA Champions League so far this season?

Erling Haaland has passed Mohamed Salah to claim the lead in the UEFA Champions League scoring statistics this season after scoring five goals against Leipzig in the round of 16-second leg, bringing his season total to 10.

The Norwegian forward scored five goals during the group stage and doubled his season total by becoming just the third player to score five goals in a Champions League match during the second leg of the round of 16 matches against Leipzig. This helped Manchester City advance to the quarterfinals and doubled his season total.

It put the 22-year-old two goals ahead of Salah, whose Liverpool team was ousted in the round of 16. Kylian Mbappé, who was also eliminated, was two goals behind Haaland on seven, with Vinicius Junior and Joo Mário being his closest rivals on six goals each.

Most assists in the 2022/23 Champions League

When it comes to assists in the Champions League this year, Joao Cancelo is in first place. He is only one above the others with five. Jota being eliminated from the contest, means,  De Bruyne, Goretzka, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, will battle for the most assists in the competition, as they are in the top five with the most assists.

When will the Champions League 2023-23 quarterfinal draw take place?

On Friday, March 17, the draw will take place at the Palace of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland. The ceremony will be broadcast live on UEFA.com at 12:00 CET.
