These managers have been consistently world-class in setting up quality teams season after season.
Since its inception three decades ago, the Premier League has undoubtedly been the most fierce competition in international football.
It's simple to identify good managers, but it takes an outstanding boss to stick around at a Premier League team. It takes a lot of skill to manage 250 games in the top division of English football. However, there are certain managers who have regularly led their teams to multiple triumphs using their tactical acumen and people management abilities.
5 Arsene Wenger- 146 wins
Arsene Wenger is a major factor why Arsenal is one of the Premier League's most prosperous teams.
In English football, Wenger conquered 146 of his first 250 league games, which was a remarkable performance at the time and is still impressive now. But this comes as no surprise given that his squad included some of the best athletes like Tony Adams, Denis Bergkamp, William Gallas, and Thierry Henry.
Wenger played some of the finest attacking football in the world, and his contributions to the team will not soon be forgotten.
4 Alex Ferguson- 152 wins
The Scottish manager's tenure at Manchester United in the 1980s got off to a slippery commence, but things started to turn around in the early 1990s. The Red Devils were prepared to win several championships season after season when the Class of 92 was introduced and the Premier League era began. They were successful for other reasons as well, including Ferguson's ability to comprehend and control English football and his game-management talents.
Ferguson managed 810 games in all, winning 528 of them. He also won the Premier League championship 13 times and the Manager of the Season award 11 times.
3 Jose Mourinho- 158 wins
Midway through the 2000s, Manchester United and Arsenal's monopoly was broken by Jose Mourinho, or "special one," as he liked to call himself.
For two and a half seasons, the current AS Roma manager oversaw operations at Old Trafford, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and Stamford Bridge. In his first 250 league games, Mourinho won 158 games, which is still a remarkable accomplishment.
He supervised 363 games overall, winning 217 of them while at Chelsea, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur. Given his management skills and winning attitude, it wouldn't be surprising if the Portuguese manager made a comeback to English football in the future.
2 Jurgen Klopp- 160 wins
Though Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola are presently in charge of the world of football, Wenger, Ferguson, and Mourinho were the giants of the past.
The current Liverpool manager continues to be one of the most underestimated coaches in the entire history of the game, however, we will discuss the last point a little later.
Klopp has accomplished a great deal with fewer resources than the managers above him, yet coming extremely near to Mourinho's record. Even though he may not have won many trophies during this time, Liverpool supporters will remember his brand of play long after he departs the club.
1 Pep Guardiola- 184 wins
Few people would contest the fact that Pep Guardiola is now the most accomplished manager in the world.
The Spaniard, who set several records when playing for Barcelona, was also very successful while coaching Bayern Munich before joining Manchester City in 2016.
Guardiola just reached the milestone of managing 250 games in the English Premier League, winning 184 games in the process. Playing for the Spaniard leaves little room for error, and his winning record is unquestionably a credit to both his management skill and tactical nous.
