Top five fastest players to 100 Premier League assists
The English top-flight has been blessed by the creativity of these stars for years at long.
In the Premier League, goal scorers typically receive most of the attention, but those who create chances shouldn't be overlooked.
A team must score goals to be competitive in the Premier League, and most of the time, the assist creators are crucial to that.
Here, we examine the footballers who have been the fastest to reach 100 assists in Premier League history, including some of the finest forwards to have ever competed in the English top division in recent years.
5. Frank Lampard - 559 matches
It makes sense that most fans only associate Lampard with goals, but the fact that he proceeded to provide more than 100 assists in the Premier League demonstrates just how talented a player he was.
Four times in his Premier League career, Lampard reached double digits in assists, and in the 2004–2005 season, he finished with 16 more assists than goals (13), helping the Blues win their first league championship. Lampard has to be regarded as one of the best Premier League players of all time given his record for both goals scored and assists.

4. Wayne Rooney - 445 matches
Rooney, another player like Frank Lampard who may be considered a goal scorer, contributed with assists to Manchester United's continuing success in the Premier League.
In his stint at United, Rooney earned double digits in assists five times while winning five league championships. He produced 13 assists and 12 goals in United's championship-winning campaign in 2007–2008, the only season in which the assists outweighed the goals in the Premier League.
3. Ryan Giggs - 367 matches
For more than 20 years, the former Manchester United winger played a crucial role at Old Trafford. He participated in 22 Premier League seasons during which he was able to provide at least one assist.
Giggs achieved double digits in assists seven times, with his best year for assists occurring in 2009–10, at the conclusion of his career, when he made 12 assists. To surpass Giggs' Premier League record, a very rare player will be required.
2. Cesc Fàbregas - 293 matches
The Spanish national squad player, who was vital for both Arsenal and Chelsea, deserves appreciation for his multiple assists for the two Premier League teams.
In four consecutive seasons, while playing for Arsenal, Fabregas recorded at least 10 assists, with a career-high 20 coming in the 2007–2008 season.
Fabregas spent time at Barcelona before returning to London, this time with Chelsea, where he continued where he left off, providing 19 assists in the 2014–2015 season.
1. Kevin De Bruyne - 237 matches
Kevin De Bruyne had a rough beginning in the Premier League but became the player to accumulate 100 Premier League assists the fastest against Southampton on Saturday.
De Bruyne, who possesses equal parts elegance and zeal, is the only member of Manchester City's current roster who has experience playing for Manuel Pellegrini. In spite of yet another assist-filled campaign. De Bruyne has produced 10 or more Premier League assists in each of the last five seasons, matching Ryan Giggs' total. Only Cesc Fabregas, who achieved the feat six times, has been superior to De Bruyne in terms of assists.
