The FIFA headquarters in Zurich hosted the draw on Friday, April 21, for the FIFA U-20 World Cup, which will be held in Argentina.
Indonesia was initially selected to host the U-20 World Cup, but FIFA prevented Indonesia from doing so when the nation's football association (PSSI) claimed it had annulled the draw because the governor of the island of Bali refused to accept the Israel squad.
May 20 to June 11, 2023, will see the FIFA U-20 World Cup.
Hosts and where the final and semi-final will be played
Six groups of twenty-four teams will participate in La Plata, Mendoza, San Juan, and Santiago del Estero. The Santiago del Estero Stadium will host the first encounter between Argentina and Uzbekistan as well as three other games on the first day. The semifinals, play-off for third place, and final will all take place at La Plata Stadium.

Who won the last FIFA U-20 World Cup?
Since the first event, which Tunisia organised in 1977, the competition has been held every two years. The current tournament champions, Ukraine U20, did not make the cut for the event.

Eleven different countries have taken home the trophy in the twenty-two competition iterations that have been held. With six championships, Argentina U20 are the most dominant squad.
