The Portuguese superstar now plays for Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr

Al Nassr, who signed Cristiano Ronaldo, are aiming for their 10th Saudi Pro League title. Cristiano Ronaldo's arrival at Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr has created much buzz about the club and brought global attention to the team and the Saudi Pro League.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s move to Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr broke the internet as one of the greatest football players in the world enters the twilight of his career. The Portuguese forward joined the Asian club after terminating his contract with Manchester United before the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar.

Ronaldo's official debut with the club came on Sunday, January 22 vs Ettifaq, and he has since been involved in a total of 10 matches with the only two losses coming against Al Ittihad -- once in league play and once in the Saudi Super Cup, which Al Ittihad went on to win. He has scored 11 goals and 2 assists till now. Founded in 1955, Al Nassr is one of the most successful teams in Saudi football history.

They have won 20 major domestic titles, including nine league titles, the team usually plays home games at Mrsool Park, aka Victory Arena. Al Nassr sits second in the Saudi top-flight standings and they are gunning for a league title, hoping to qualify for next year's AFC Champions League.

They were eliminated in the semis of the Saudi Super Cup, but they are in the semifinals of the King Cup of Champions. Should Al Nassr win the 2022-23 Saudi Pro League or the King Cup, they would automatically qualify for next season's AFC Champions League. Al Nassr has never won the AFC Champions League, but the club did reach the final in 1995, its only appearance in that stage of the tournament.
