Erik Ten Hag gave an update on the fitness of the two key players.

Raphael Varane and Marcus Rashford updates were provided by Erik Ten Hag prior to Wolves' Premier League encounter with Manchester United.

For Manchester United, Raphael Varane is back in the lineup, while Marcus Rashford is doubtful for the Premier League fixture.

Due to an ankle injury, Varane has missed the previous four weeks of action.

"Rapha Varane is back and Rashford is doubtful," United manager Erik ten Hag commented. "He has a problem, so injury on his leg. He's a big question mark for tomorrow but happy Rapha Varane is back.

As I say, (Rashford is) doubtful, more than doubtful, so a big question mark. We have players who can score goals and they have the opportunity now to show it.

"Varane is experienced, knows how to win and will lead how to win, will guide us."

Alejandro Garnacho has one more week training, definitely, so he is available. We have seen he can bring something extra in the team."

Following the 1-0 loss at West Ham on Sunday, United enjoyed an initial free midweek without an international break since September, which means there is going to be a seven-day break heading into their matches versus Wolves and Bournemouth.

Last week, United lost both of their away games—against West Ham and Brighton—and Ten Hag acknowledged they lacked vigour in both contests. After two days off at the beginning of the week, Ten Hag thinks the team is now more energetic.

"We had a week and we needed it to reset, to reload, to recharge, to get the energy back," Ten Hag stated, "because we had a lack of it in the last two games."

United are only one point ahead of Liverpool. Jurgen Klopp's squad, on the other hand, play two days later; on Monday, they visit relegation-threatened Leicester.
