Top five performers in Red Bull Four 2 score India National finals
Boom Boom Goa were crowned Champions, and will represent India at the world final.
The Red Bull four 2 score is an action packed 4v4 football tournament, which is an initiative by Red Bull to give amateur soccer players worldwide the chance to experience Red Bull’s unique ´power football´ philosophy first-hand.
The Red Bull four to score demands creative small-field football skills, affixed with quick decision making and physicality. The games are ten minutes long, and have no goalkeepers. Goals scored during the first and the last minute of the game count double.
In India, the competition was divided across three rounds, with the best teams from the first two rounds qualifying for the National Finals which were held in Kochi on the 13th of May.
Whilst Boom Boom Goa triumphed in the National Finals, the road wasn’t at all easy for them. The competition was packed by a number of outstanding individuals and teams, who had the onlookers hooked on with their mesmerising play.
Today, we look at five such individuals, who commended themselves, and exceeded exceptions with their outstanding performances in the Red Bull Four 2 Score National Finals.
5. Sanket Ahire - Cecilians FC
Sanket’s movement and incredible passing was of immense help for Cecilians, who often relied on the forward to open up spaces for the team. Sanket tirelessly put in an insane amount of effort throughout the tournament to help his team at the front. Sanket was also a serial goalscorer, who got on the scoresheet quite a number of times.
4. Clinton D'Souza - Kalina Rangers
Kalina Rangers had a wonderful journey, as they made it to the ultimate final of the national finals, and Clinton was at the very heart of the proceedings. Apart from being their main driving force in the front, and scoring goals for fun, Clinton was also exceptional with his passing. He also scored in the semis against Goal Hunterz to take Kalina into the final.
3. Rajnish Situ - Goal Hunterz FC
Goal Hunterz had an incredible tournament, as they topped a group consisting of champions Boom Boom Goa and Cecilians, and also made it to the semis. But all of this wouldn’t have been possible, if it weren’t for Rajnish’s incredible work at the back.
Rajnish stood like a pillar in front of Hunterz’s goal and blocked a number of crucial shots all throughout the tournament. It was courtesy of his incredible defensive abilities that Hunterz were never caught lacking at the back. The player also dealt with a number of crucial 1v1 situations.
2. Danstan Fernandes - Maccabi Juniors FC
Danstan was easily one of the most impressive individual performers in the Red Bull four 2 score national finals. His contributions ranged from incredible tackling and defending to outstanding thinking up front to help his team score. Dan also showed incredible amount of zeal and gusto, as he motivated and guided his teammates all throughout the game.
1 . Faheez Mohamed - Boom Boom Goa
Incredible goal-scoring and unmatched passion are arguably the only two ways to describe Faheez’s performance in the Red Bull four 2 score national finals. The player was exceptional, and somewhat carried Boom Boom to victory. Faheez scored an all-important late goal in the group stage, to send his team into the playoffs.
In the Semis, Faheez proved to be the point of difference, as his goal took the club to the finals, where he provided the golden touch to ensure that his side are heading to Germany later this year.
