Serie A 2022-23: Juventus vs AC Milan: Predicted lineup, injury news, head-to-head, telecast
Juventus have failed to beat Milan in their last four meetings.
Juventus and their fans are enduring one of their most difficult seasons and will look to find some redemption when they take on Milan in a Serie A clash on Sunday. They were dumped out of the Europa League semi-final when they lost 3-2 on aggregate to Sevilla and faced a 10-point deduction in the league due to irregularities surrounding their transfer dealings.
Originally, they were handed a 15-point deduction, but after an appeal, the new deduction was announced. The swing from second in the table to now being seventh hurts them enormously on a financial level as well, as their ability to meet their transfer targets for the new season takes a hit.
However, with pride at stake and long-time rivals visiting town, it'd be a shot in the arm if they're able to hurt Milan's Champions League ambition, who's currently in 4th position and five points above them. The Bianconeri have to show more character and togetherness than the display in the 4-1 loss to midtable Empoli if they want three points against the Rossoneri, given they no longer compete for trophies after the Europa League exit.
AC Milan are also looking to stave off the disappointment of not reaching the Champions League final after exiting at the hands of city rivals Inter and looking to finish in the top four. They did have a bounce-back 5-1 victory against Sampdoria last weekend in the Serie A. Leao and Giroud finished with five-goal contributions between each other, including a Giroud hat trick. With two games to go, Milan will hope to hold on to the fourth and final spot Champions League for next season, and a win against the Old Lady will go a long way to ensuring just that.

Player to watch in Juventus vs AC Milan
Juventus: Dusan Vlahovic
The Serbian forward has been among the few players who've found the back of the net regularly for Juventus. Despite not fitting in totally in manager Allegri's system, the former Fiorentina forward has been the top scorer for his side and has netted 10 goals in the league this year.
He's also been linked with summer moves to a lot of clubs across Europe, with the likes of Chelsea and Bayern Munich being interested, and a strong showing to end the season will only add to his rise, irrespective of whether he stays in Turin beyond the summer, and will be one to watch against Milan.
AC Milan: Sandro Tonali
The Italian has been a mainstay for AC Milan, having already played 32 games in all competitions, including all matches in 2023. Originally linked as Andrea Pirlo's successor for Italy, he's done well to bring his own qualities of being defensively strong in his tackling and pressing off the ball, while also showing silky touch with the ball. He'll have to be influential if Milan is to win in Turin and add to his seven assists, despite much of the limelight in his team being on attacking players such as Leao and Giroud.
