Early Life and Beginnings in Football
Amara Diouf, a rising young footballer who hails from Senegal, is a 14-year-old footballer who was born in Pikine, in Dakar's suburbs. He joined the Generation Foot Academy, in Dakar.
Generation Foot is an association football club based founded in 2000 in Dakar, Senegal. Their home stadium tends to fit 1200 fans, the club was founded by Mady Toure, the club took the name of Amara Toure, the father of Mady. Since then the academy had produced players like Papiss Cisse, and Sadio Mane, who have been exceptional after graduating from the academy.
Player history
Amara Diouf is a Senegalese footballer who plays as a winger for Generation Foot, a Senegalese Premier League club, he was accepted into the prestigious Generation Foot Academy in 2017. He was spotted by Generation Foot coaches at the age of ten during the Danone Nations Cup in France, a football tournament for children between the ages of 10 and 12; it is organized every year since 2000, and its main motive is to turn players into world citizens. Zinedine Zidane has been the ambassador of this tournament for the past 10 years.
Despite his young age, Amara Diouf already has a reputation as a serial scorer; on February 24, 2023, Generation Foot won the Mohammed VI international U19 tournament in Morocco. Generation Foot Football Academy defeated the likes of Real Madrid in the quarter-finals, then Mohammed VI Academy in the semi-finals, before winning the final 1-0 on a “Clutch” goal from Amara Diouf late in the game, his performances helped Generation Foot Academy to win the tournament.
Playing Style
The young footballer from Senegal, plays as a winger but has all the qualities to score goals. His playing style is compared to Victor Osimhen, the 24-year-old Nigerian Striker who plays for Napoli in the Italian league Serie A. Osimhen's contributions led Napoli to win the Serie A title after 33 years, first time since the days of the later Diego Maradona.
Recently, in the U17 Afcon Nation competition, Diouf captained the Senegal U17 side. He joined the U17 side in 2022 following their qualification matches for the 2023 U17 Afcon competition.
Diouf was unbelievable during the Afcon competition, fans around the world had eyes on him because of the reputation he has of scoring goals. He surpassed Osimhen's record of most goals scored in one edition of the competition, he scored 4 goals throughout the tournament in 2015. During Senegal's match against South Africa in the quarterfinals of the U17 Afcon competition, Diouf scored a brace, leading him to 5 goals in one competition, breaking Osimhen's record.
His performance in the Afcon competition was a treat to watch, he led the Senegal Team to win the U17 Afcon final for the first time, Senegal defeated Morocco 2-1. Amara Diouf was then rewarded with the Golden Boot, scoring the highest number of goals in the competition. The young talented footballer has a bright future ahead of him, top clubs from Europe will now try to scout him and help him to be a better player.
