The World Cup 2022 winners will face Australia and Indonesia

Lionel Scaloni has announced a list of 27 players for their upcoming friendly matches. Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho and PSV's Walter Benítez have a chance to make their international debuts. Argentina will play their first friendly against Australia on June 15. On June 19, they will play against Indonesia.

Argentina played two international friendlies during the previous international break. Their first match was against Panama, and the World Champions won 2-0. Lionel Messi scored a goal in that game. In the next match, Argentina ran riot past Curacao and scored seven goals. Argentina's captain scored a hat trick in that game.

The coach will look to test his youngsters in these friendlies. He has picked four players from Serie A and six from the Premier League. LaLiga has the maximum participation with eight players. Lionel Messi will once again lead the side.

Lisandro Martinez will miss these games and will receive treatment. This means that Manchester City's striker, Julian Alvarez, will be the first-choice number nine for the manager. Alvarez recently won the league title with the English club. Giovanni Simeone, who won the Scudetto with Napoli, will hope to get a few minutes in his national colours.

Lionel Messi and Angel Di Maria will lead a young attack and midfield. Alexis Mac Allister and Enzo Fernandes impressed a lot during the World Cup. These future stars are expected to run Argentina's midfield in the coming years. Nicolas Otamendi will lead the team at the back. Lisandro Martinez will be a big miss at the back for the manager.

Argentina are likely to win these two matches. They will look to dominate the international circuit and maintain their number-one rank in the overall standings.
