Top five clubs Marco Asensio can join next season
Analyzing the potential destinations for The Spaniard
At the Santiago Bernabeu, the 27-year-old Spanish player Marco Asensio has had some difficulty getting game time. His chances of competing in the FIFA World Cup later this year may suffer as a result.
Additionally, Marco Asensio did not play in Los Blancos's most recent LaLiga match at the Santiago Bernabeu against Mallorca. Marco Asensio wasn't really pleased with the choice and was observed yelling at the sidelines.
The agreement with the Spaniard is anticipated to end in June 2023. If his current circumstance does not improve this season, he might be pushing for the exit door at Real Madrid.
5. Newcastle United
Some of the rare clubs with the financial clout to offer the Real Madrid forward a hefty contract is the Premier League team.
The Sun reports that during the summer transfer window, Newcastle United put forward a proposal for Asensio in the neighbourhood of £24 million.
Even though the relocation never happened, the Magpies might give it another shot next summer. However, Eddie Howe's team's efforts to sign the Spaniard may suffer greatly if they miss out on UEFA Champions League football.
4. Juventus
If Marco Asensio chooses to depart Santiago Bernabeu in the future, Juventus of Italy would be a good option for him. The Old Lady is one of Europe's most dominant teams, and their fame is sufficient to draw players of the highest caliber.
According to Football Transfers, Juventus has also been associated with the Spanish forward and may try to sign him in January. He might also take over for Argentine winger Angel Di Maria, who committed to Juventus for a single season this summer.
3. AC Milan
The reigning Serie A winners AC Milan are another Italian team who might try to sign Asensio during the summer of 2019.
Although a deal never materialized, the Rossoneri were one of the clubs linked to his signing this summer. The Hard Tackle quotes reports indicating that AC Milan would give it another shot in 2023.
The player might be drawn to them because of their recent revival, which saw them win the Serie A championship in 2021–2022. Marco Asensio would probably also be able to do well for AC Milan in the UEFA Champions League.
2. Chelsea
In the just-finished summer transfer market, the West London club spent the most money in an effort to restock their roster.
Recall that Chelsea wanted to acquire a right-wing attacker in the summer but was unsuccessful in getting either Anthony Gordon or Raphinha. Come next summer, the Spaniard might well be their guy.
A transfer for Marco Asensio might answer Chelsea's need for a right-wing forward because he excels at that position and can offer Raheem Sterling a trustworthy teammate.
1. Arsenal
According to reports, Arsenal are interested in signing Real Madrid offensive midfielder Marco Asensio during the summer on a free move. The Spaniard's deal with Los Blancos is set to expire at the conclusion of the current campaign.
The 27-year-old's representatives will take a flight to London this week to learn about the Premier League's involvement in their client, who is thought to have admirers like Arsenal.
