Three key Arsenal players sign new long term contracts at the club
Ramsdale, Martinelli, and Saka commit to long-term deals at Arsenal
Arsenal have taken their game to the next level, this season they have played exceptionally well across all competitions. Their success this season was solely because of the performances that were put up by their players, Mikel Arteta along with his squad will play Champions League next year.
The likes of Ramsdale, Martinelli, and Saka have agreed to sign new deals with Arsenal. Martinelli only extended his contract earlier this year; their contract extension will cost Arsenal £30m over the next 4 years.
Aaron Ramsdale
The 24-year-old English goal keeper is on the verge of signing a new long-term contact with Arsenal. It is understood that he will earn around £120k a week and still has two years left on his contract, but Arsenal have been impressed by his performances and want to extend his contract till 2027.
David de Gea is the only goalkeeper who has kept more clean sheets than Ramsdale in the Premier League, he has been a key player for Arteta and his success this season. His performances have allowed the front office to think about doubling his wage. Arsenal have trusted him as the goal keeper who could help Arsenal win more major trophies with years to come.
Bukayo Saka
The exciting 21-year-old is one of Europe's most exciting footballers right now, he has been named as Arsenal's player of the season twice, winning FA Cup and Community shield.
The trophies don't do justice to his name, he has been one of Arteta's main man, his rise this season has allowed him to play every match under Arteta. He has been on Manchester City's transfer list with only one year left on his contract, Arsenal are planning to extend his contract which will allow him to earn £290K-a-week, making him their highest earner, and that would make him one of the best paid players in Arsenal's club history.
Gabriel Martinelli
The Brazilian forward has scored vital goals for Arsenal this season, the 21-year-old's contract was set to expire at the end of next season, but Mikel Arteta insisited to keep him for long term, his playing style suits the manager. His pace, ball control have proved to be his strengths.
He has now committed his future to Arsenal with a new four-and-a-half-year contract, on his new deal Arteta added "we are delighted to have Gabi for long-term", the supporters have seen his quality and energy every single game. The new long-term deal has allowed him to earn £180,000-a-week deal till 2027 with option of extending the contract for 12 extra months.
