Manchester United identify Andre Onana as long-term David de Gea successor

The Red Devils could bring in a new goalkeeper next season
Andre Onana, the custodian for Inter Milan, is attracting interest from Premier League giants Manchester United.
With each match going by, Manchester United's desire to sign a new custodian appears to increase. Although it's obvious that he doesn't particularly suit this style of play, David de Gea has been a truly outstanding servant to the club.
Erik ten Hag might be tempted to turn and go another way. Depending on how soon his body heals from surgery, Dean Henderson seems like a real option once more.
The team might try to sign a replacement shot-stopper if Hendo is not ready or judged to be good enough. Andre Onana of Inter Milan has been mentioned along with other others.
Gianluca Di Marzio recently gave Sky Sports News the most recent details on Onana.
The 27-year-old custodian is reportedly popular with United, and Chelsea is also interested. Prior to a significant summer window, Di Marzio claimed that both English teams have Onana on their "list."
They would then discuss transfer fees. It would cost at least €50 million (£43 million), according to di Marzio, to lure the Cameroon international out of the Serie A team this summer. That would represent nothing but a profit for Inter, who just last summer acquired the custodian from Ajax on a free transfer.
Onana is ideal for the Ten Hag system, as far as we are aware. The United gaffer was aware of his skills and shortcomings because the pair collaborated at Ajax.
Everything depends on the financial constraints Ten Hag is facing. It shouldn't be difficult for United to acquire a great striker and a new custodian if they are willing to pay heavily. However, if money is scarce, things may get difficult.
