Professional career and early life

Nestory Irankunda, a senior football player for Adelaide United in the A-League, was born on February 9th, 2006. He was chosen to represent the Socceroos, the Australian national team, in March 2023.

Irankunda began his professional football career in 2021 at the age of 15 with Adelaide United's NPL squad. He netted three goals in 15 matches for the young squad in the National Premier League here, and seven goals in 13 games for the Reserves.

On January 8, 2022, in the Original Rivalry matchup against Melbourne Victory, he played his A-League debut after replacing Bernardo in the 71st minute. During the 2021–22 season, he appeared in thirteen matches for Adelaide United and scored three goals, notably his first A–League goal off a free kick against Newcastle Jets.

Nestory Irankunda made a total of 14 appearances in total for Adelaide United during the 2022–23 season, and he scored four goals. As of this date, he had a tie for third in league goals for Adelaide United.

According to Nestory Irankunda's coach Carl Veart, international superpowers including Bayern Munich are vying for the services of the Adelaide United star player.

Veart, however, claims that information in rumours that the 17-year-old A-League player had agreed a deal with Bayern was false.

Irankunda is unable to make the move to Europe until February of next year, a month after the transfer period ends, due to FIFA regulations.

The dynamic winger, who received a call-up into the Socceroos team as a train-on player last March, was sold by United, according to Veart, who was careful with his comments.
