Do You Remember, the last time Cristiano Ronaldo played in a Club World Cup was during his second last season at Real Madrid? In that same season, Ronaldo helped them win UEFA Champions League, LaLiga, and UEFA Super Cup too.
Real Madrid during that unbeatable stretch was a tough team to beat, coming into that 2017 Club World Cup they were favourites to win it. Ronaldo scored crucial goals in the semi-final and final, he scored the winning goal in the second half against Gremio. This was Ronaldo’s fourth Club World Cup Title which he previously won in 2008, 2014, and 2016; Real Madrid went on to win the third consecutive title and fourth overall.
Along with his exceptional skills and goal-scoring tendency, he was then awarded the tournament’s Golden Ball Award for the best player of the tournament and contributed to Real Madrid’s successful campaign. The official account of Real Madrid posted its celebration videos on all the social media platforms. A recent video is circulated where Luka Modric, Marcelo, and Sergio Ramos are congratulating Cristiano Ronaldo doing his iconic celebration “SIU” when he was awarded the Golden Ball Award.
After the presentation, he went to his teammates and thanked them by giving them his trophy personally Marcelo. Marcelo, one of the biggest supporters and a great fan, and friend on and off the field has witnessed all the major trophies and how determined Ronaldo is on winning.
Ever since he left Real Madrid he went to Italy, and England to play for Juventus and Manchester United respectively. He became the first player to ever win the Premier League, Serie A, and La Liga titles with different clubs.
