Arsenal submit second bid for Chelsea's Kai Havertz

The Gunners have continued the pursuit of the German forward
According to rumours, Arsenal have submitted a second proposal of around £60 million for Chelsea attacker Kai Havertz, after their opening bid was rejected by the Blues.
Recently, the Gunners had a £50 million offer for the 24-year-old rejected by their London rivals, who sought £70 million for him. Now, Arsenal are offering a guaranteed £55 million plus £5 million in potential bonuses.
On an individual basis, it is known that Havertz could provide an extended agreement earning £210,000 each week. Declan Rice, the West Ham midfielder and Dutch defender Jurrien Timber are other targets for the Gunners.
The Hammers reportedly rejected a £90 million bid from Arsenal for Rice in favour of a higher asking price of £100 million.
After Ajax rejected their original offer of £30 million, the Gunners were also instructed to fork over £50 million for Timber.
Chelsea, on the other hand, are eager to raise money this summer through player sales after investing more than £600m the previous year.
However, given the high-profile interest in some Saudi Arabian Blues players, their status appears to be improving.
The Middle East may be interested in buying Edouard Mendy, N'Golo Kante, Kalidou Koulibaly, Hakim Ziyech, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and Romelu Lukaku.
According to rumours, Arsenal thinks Havertz is a must-win player for the team because of his versatility.
Declan Rice has been replaced by the 23-year-old as the Gunners' main target, but Arsenal is optimistic that both of their top targets will transfer to north London in the initial phases of the summer transfer.
