Arsenal were looking to add new enforcements to their team and had set their eyes on Chelsea and German player Kai Havertz. On social media platforms, an announcement video showed Kai Havertz wearing Arsenal's jersey with his name and the '29' number on his back. This looked like an announcement video but Arsenal haven't released any official video yet.

The first interview of Kai Havertz 'leaked'

Kai Havertz was happy to join a club with such a rich history and looks to achieve success with them. The player was also happy with Arsenal's mentality on the field and there are a lot of talented players in the team.

On choosing the number '29' at his back once again, the German commented that he has been playing with the same number since playing professional football. The number has been lucky for Havertz and has some history related to his brother. Both of them used to take this number while playing video games.

The former Bayer Leverkusen player added, "I love to wear it in a red shirt again."

Kai Havertz is also excited to play in the Champions League with Arsenal. The forward led Chelsea to a 1-0 win by scoring a goal in the final against Manchester City in 2020-21.

After a few negotiations, the move is expected to be valued at around £65 million. Arsenal might make the announcement soon and then only we can expect the correct price.

The Gunners finished second in the Premier League 2022-23. They will play Champions League and Mikel Arteta's young guns will have their eyes set on at least one silverware.
