Bayern Munich keeping tabs on Kyle Walker's situation as fullback's future looking uncertain at Manchester City

The English right-back could leave the Premier League champions in summer window
Bayern Munich have internally discussed Kyle Walker's availability who faces an ambiguous future at Manchester City.
SportsNet Sky According to Florian Plettenberg of Germany, Bayern have narrowed down the 32-year-old and has talked about his probable availability. Walker has one year left on his contract, thus it appears likely that he will leave the Etihad.
Manchester City and the Bundesliga champions have not yet spoken, but Thomas Tuchel's team is keeping track. The Citizens team that captured the continental triple this year included the English right-back.
Walker participated in 39 different competitions while contributing one assist. He also made 14 appearances as an unconventional centre-back. The seasoned defender, though, wasn't always a surefire starter. During the season, Rico Lewis, age 18, supplanted him.
The England international's unexpected benching in the Champions League final was another surprise. He entered the game in Manchester City's 1-0 triumph over Inter Milan's final eight minutes.
Walker's previous club Sheffield United is also apparently interested in signing the defender, in addition to Bayern Munich. He is also attracting attention from the Saudi Pro League in the meanwhile.
In his six years serving the Etihad, Walker has established himself as a City icon. He has made 254 appearances and five Premier League titles, two FA Cups, four League Cup victories, and most recently, the Champions League.
Prior to the upcoming season, Tuchel might be attempting to improve his defence. The City defender Joao Cancelo's loan's €70 million buy-option is not being exercised by the Bavarians.
They could thus try to acquire his teammate rather, although his future is questionable, Cancelo should be a better option for Bayern given he is young and is an attack-minded right-back, compared to Walker who is in his mid-30s and has only a few years left at the top level.
