Chelsea reach full agreement to sign Nicolas Jackson for €35m

The Senegalese scored 12 goals in the 2022-23 season
Chelsea have reached a full agreement to land Villarreal sensation Nicolas Jackson in a £30 million deal. The Senegalese is in London completing his medical.
The Blues and the 22-year-old international from Senegal have agreed on personal terms. And before moving to Stamford Bridge, according to Fabrizio Romano.
According to reports, Chelsea invested just a bit beyond Villarreal's release option. Instalments will be taken to cover the transfer charge.
He becomes Mauricio Pochettino's second acquisition of the transfer window, following Kendry Paez, an Ecuadorian, who signed a contract to leave Independiente del Valle.
The transfer of Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig became official this past week, but the agreement was made months prior to Pochettino taking over.
Jackson had a great finish to the season for the LaLiga team before his move to West London.
His nine goals in his last eight league games were fantastic. He made 38 appearances during the 2022–23 season, scoring 13 goals and dishing out five assists.
Jackson is a central attacker for Villarreal, a position that Chelsea have been actively seeking to fill in recent months. Last year, Kai Havertz frequently ran the offence, and it appears that he will join Arsenal.
Romelu Lukaku has had a horrible two years after returning for a second stint, and Chelsea are eager to move him.
In 59 games throughout the inaugural campaign back at the Bridge, the 30-year-old Belgian scored 15 goals. Then he was loaned to his old team, Inter Milan, where he scored 14 goals.
Inter wants to prolong his loan through the 2023–2024 season, while local rivals AC Milan, who are interested in a permanent transfer, are in the running.
