Eintracht Frankfurt's European hopes ended with defeat to RB Leipzig in DFB-Pokal final

Eintracht Frankfurt had a chance to finish the year on a high note, but they were powerless to accomplish so after falling to RB Leipzig 2-0 in the DFB Pokal final. This indicates that they last won a prize during the 2017–18 season, which was the German Cup.
