Jeremie Frimpong appoints new agent amid transfer speculation

The 22-year-old joined Bayer Leverkusen in 2021
Jeremie Frimpong has reportedly changed his agent ahead of the summer window, and Dirk Hebel will now serve as Frimpong's legal counsel.
Frimpong is a player to keep an eye on since he has been coveted by numerous clubs since January, and offers are anticipated later this summer.
Erwin van de Looi selected Frimpong for the European Under-21 Championship this summer. However, the 22-year-old defender has made the decision not to represent the Dutch team this summer in Romania and Georgia.
Although he hasn't received an official match for the Netherlands, the Bayer Leverkusen star was a member of Louis van Gaal's team for the World Cup in Qatar.
Although Frimpong is on his national coach's "back books," he could be on the move this summer, with United among the teams that are considering acquiring him.
Erik Ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, wants to add right-back reinforcements during the summer transfer season.
Despite the competition for the starting spot this year between Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Ten Hag will consider selling full-backs once the window opens on June 14.
The discussions between United and Frimpong's agent, Jeffrey Lemmert, about a summer transfer are thought to have gone well.
According to more recent sources, Leverkusen are prepared to sell in the forthcoming window for €40 million (£34 million), plus extras.
The youngster is being pursued by Bayern Munich and Barcelona, which means there will undoubtedly be competition for his signature.
Frimpong is well-versed in Manchester, having progressed through Manchester City's junior system before joining Celtic in 2019. He arrived at Bayer Leverkusen in January 2021, and during the last two years, he has taken off.
Jeremie Frimpong had a standout 2022–23 season, making 48 appearances in all competitions and contributing nine goals and 11 assists. Dalot and Wan-Bissaka are less at ease with the 22-year-old's offensive playing style from the right wing, which is known for it.
