Lucas Hernandez close to Bayern Munich 'exit' and nearing PSG 'move'

The 27-year-old defender won his fourth Bundesliga title in 2022-23
According to rumours, French international defender Lucas Hernandez is close to joining Ligue 1 winners Paris Saint-Germain from Bayern Munich. According to the French newspaper L'Equipe, "the two clubs are progressing well" towards reaching a deal for the former Atletico Madrid star.
According to additional reports, the player might fetch as little as €35 million. Hernandez is a versatile player who is capable of playing left-back, and the estimated cost may represent a great value for the Frenchman.
The defender's current contract with the Bavarian club expires in one year, and discussions on renewal are still in the early stages.
The player's knee injury from the previous year's FIFA World Cup prevented him from playing frequently for the Bundesliga champions.
After only 13 minutes of play against Australia in the group stage, Lucas Hernandez was forced to leave the game. After falling behind 1-0 in the opening ten minutes of the match, the 2018 World Cup winners rallied to defeat the Socceroos 4-1.
The previous season, Lucas Hernandez recorded a total of eleven starts for his club, all of which occurred prior to the World Cup's start in November of that year.
Kim Min-jae, a centre-back for Napoli, is also about to be signed by Bayern for a rumoured sum of €47 million. According to reports, Lucas Hernandez might go once the South Korean arrives.
Premier League club Manchester United had expressed interest in the 26-year-old, but he has decided to sign a five-year contract with Bayern.
