Luka Modric receives two massive offers from Saudi and Qatari clubs

He is a Ballon d'Or winner
The veteran Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric is reportedly considering a possible transfer after getting a substantial contract offer from Saudi Arabia. He is strongly contemplating the €80 million plus €20 million offer from Saudi Arabia for two seasons.
Al-Ahli, a club from Saudi Arabia, are ready to pay Modric a sizable fee, and Al-Sadd, a team from Qatar, are promising the Ballon d'Or winner a substantial deal as well as coaching following his retirement.
Karim Benzema, who recently signed with Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia, has already left Real Madrid. Now that Modric has been presented with a hefty contract offer from the Middle East, he too might follow in his footsteps.
The same day Benzema's deal with Madrid expires so does Modric's. However, numerous rumours claimed that the 37-year-old midfielder had signed a one-season extension with the Merengues and appeared destined to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu.
In fact, it has been said in the past that the 37-year-old turned down proposals from Saudi Arabia and Qatar in a bid to lengthen his tenure with the team in the Spanish capital.
The Croatian international is reportedly considering taking the two-year deal from Saudi Arabia, so that could potentially be about to change.
As he left for Al-Ahli in Saudi Arabia, Modric's former Real Madrid colleague and club star Sergio Ramos suggested a prospective reunion with the midfielder by liking a fan post on social media that claimed he and Modric might relocate to the Middle East.
One wouldn't hold it against Modric if he accepted such an alluring offer, knowing that he has accomplished everything in Europe and is approaching the final stretch of his career.
Also, considering that he will have more competition with Jude Bellingham at Real Madrid the following year for the matches, it will be a wise decision the former Tottenham midfielder can make.
It would be interesting to see if the Croatian makes the switch to Saudi Arabia like his former teammates Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema or if he elects to remain at Real Madrid for another season.
