They overtook Real Madrid in the rankings

Premier League champions and Champions League 2022-23 finalists, Manchester City have become football's most valuable 'brand'. They saw a 15% increase in their brand value and that takes them above Real Madrid.

Real Madrid saw their brand value fall by 3%. Their arch-rivals Barcelona are placed third after their brand value soar by 5% according to the new reports.

Manchester City are chasing a treble and are only one step away from achieving this feat. They have tasted success in recent seasons. Manchester City's Etihad Stadium is continuously expanding and so is their international sponsorships. This continuous development has been one of the primary reason why Manchester City have topped the list this time.

English clubs are dominating the top 10 standings. Manchester United overtook their rivals, Liverpool in the standings. According to the Brand Finance report, Newcastle United have the fastest-growing brand value of any other club in the United Kingdom. Their value is around £216m and has increased by 33% since the Saudi takeover in 2021.
