Manchester United transfer target Adrien Rabiot set to sign contract extension at Juventus

The French midfielder was linked with a move to Manchester United
Fabrizio Romano has updated on Adrien Rabiot's contract situation at Juventus and claimed the midfielder has extended his contract for another year, keeping him at the club till 2024.
The Red Devils have been interested in signing the France international for quite some time, and regular attempts are being made to get him to Old Trafford. 2023 saw a resurgence of interest, although the recurring plot point has been resolved.
Rabiot has extended his agreement with Juventus for another year, keeping him on their roster through the end of the 2023–24 campaign.
A statement from Juventus verifying the information reads as follows:
"Juventus and Adrien Rabiot together again! Adrien renews until 30 June 2024 and is ready to experience more emotions with the black and white shirt.
"The story is not finished, we still have roads to go side by side and we are ready to continue running together towards our goals. Congratulations, Adrienne!"
With a proposal from England remaining on the agenda, Rabiot reportedly agreed on a deal with Juventus at the beginning of the week.
According to the Corriere dello Sport, before the last piece of paper had been signed on Tuesday, his mother, who also serves as his agent, had productive talks in Saint Tropez.
Rabiot was scheduled to become available as a free agent at the conclusion of June, and Manchester United had been made aware of his possible eligibility once more.
However, a contract worth €7 million (£6 million or $8 million) over the duration of one year persuaded the 28-year-old to stay in Turin for a minimum of another year.
In 48 appearances throughout all competitions for Juventus this past season, Rabiot played a significant role. He will continue to be a key component of Massimiliano Allegri's plans, as United manager Erik ten Hag will have to divert his focus in search of additional midfield troops. Rabiot scored 11 goals and provided six assists.
