Mason Greenwood included in Manchester United's retain squad list for 2023-24 season

Premier League 2022-23 golden glove winner David de Gea misses out on the list
Manchester United have sent their retain list of players who will participate in the 2023-24 season, which also includes Mason Greenwood.
Goalkeeping-related contract negotiations with David De Gea are still ongoing, and contract extensions have been initiated for Tom Heaton and Nathan Bishop.
Defenders Rhys Bennett and Ethan Laird have had their contracts extended, and Under-21s player-coach Tom Huddlestone is anticipated to remain after contract negotiations.
Mateo Mejia, a promising forward, also got the offer.
Following 12 years and 229 games for United, centre-back Phil Jones is going, as it was confirmed last month.
After 37 first-team games and having led the Reds at every level before attending the club's academy when he was eight-year-old, fellow defender Axel Tuanzebe is retiring. In a Carabao Cup matchup over his hometown team, Rochdale, in 2019, Axel led the first squad as skipper.
Despite having terrible luck with ailments throughout his time at United, Tuanzebe, who notably defeated Kylian Mbappe in our Champions League last-16 triumph over Paris Saint-Germain in 2019, resumed playing on loan at Stoke City last season.
Following loan stints at Salford City and Portsmouth, respectively, Ethan Galbraith and Di'Shon Bernard are looking for new opportunities elsewhere. In a matchup against Astana in the 2019 Europa League, both players made their United appearances.
After their present terms expire, Eric Hanbury, Charlie Wellens, and Manni Norkett will leave the Manchester United academy. The Academy is pleased with all of the accomplishments of its leaving young athletes. They will all receive specialised aftercare services, support in obtaining official agreements at new clubs, and a lifetime move to Manchester United.
