N'Golo Kante’s agent set to hold talks with Al-Ittihad

N'Golo Kante will become free agent after end of season
After Chelsea and N'Golo Kante agreed on new terms early this year, it was anticipated that Kante would sign a contract extension by the end of this month, but negotiations have since stopped.
However, sources have indicated that N'Golo Kante is also being touted as another potential big-name acquisition in Saudi Arabia.
Clubs from all over Europe have resumed conversations with N'Golo Kante's entourage, Paris Saint-Germain, and a few Serie A teams' renowned fans.
Additionally, N'Golo Kante's entourage will meet with the Saudi club Al-Ittihad to discuss his signing, as Chelsea has not yet extended his contract.
The 32-year-old was apparently talking about making a splashy transfer to the Middle East and is weighing all of his choices. An additional season at Chelsea is also still a possibility.
N'Golo Kante will meet with the newly hired Mauricio Pochettino before making a final choice about his future. Chelsea will hold another round of negotiations with Kante.
The Frenchman had an unimpressive year at Chelsea, missing the bulk of the campaign with a knee injury. After recovering, the former Leicester City midfielder was sidelined once more, and now the Blues believe his frequent injuries may prevent Chelsea from keeping him for the upcoming season.
Chelsea are planning a massive midfield rebuild this summer, with Manuel Ugarte of Sporting CP, Moises Caicedo of Brighton, and Declan Rice of West Ham United all on the shortlist.
Chelsea are trying to make changes in a number of areas, not just the midfield. Talks about the futures of several forwards and custodian Edouard Mendy are also happening.
The futures of Kai Havertz, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Christian Pulisic, and Hakim Ziyech are all questionable, and Pochettino has already opted not to seek a long-term contract for Joao Felix, who is currently on loan from Atletico Madrid.
N'Golo Kante has won a Champions League, Europa League, Premier League, and the FA Cup with Chelsea.
