Pep Guardiola could leave Manchester City once his contract expires

He has won a treble twice as a manager
Pep Guardiola is determined to depart when his contract with Manchester City expires in two years. The manager, who recently guided City to a triple, has all but decided to leave in the summer of 2025 and finish his nine-year reign.
In November, Guardiola agreed to a new contract, a decision that his inner circle had doubts about.
It was widely believed that the Catalan would stick to the three-year contract he signed when he first came to City in the summer of 2016.
It was believed that Guardiola would look to lead a team in Italy after a stint in England to fulfil his desire to oversee Europe's four top domestic tournaments. Prior to City, Guardiola had managed Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
However, it is known that Guardiola has altered his perspective. Coaching a foreign team could be one option. According to ESPN, Guordiola could be coaching a national team after this.
Ilkay Gündogan will likely sign the new one-year contract with a club-offered 12-month option, according to Guardiola.
Gündogan and the club's management are anticipated to have conversations this week as the captain, who will turn 33 in October, considers a three-year contract proposal from Barcelona. Additionally, Saudi Arabia has expressed interest in the midfielder, whose deal expires this month.
Uncertainty surrounds Guardiola's future plans, despite reports that he may pursue a career in international management.
Former Bayern Munich and Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola reportedly wanted to become the first manager to win championships in each of the four major European leagues.
According to estimates, his plans have "changed."
Guardiola is currently getting ready to leave City after less than ten years in charge. Throughout his seven seasons in England, the public's hero has won five league championships to his credit.
