Real Madrid also have the England captain on their wishlist

Manchester United are interested in signing Harry Kane, and the striker is also open to moving to Old Trafford, but they are losing hope of doing so. United are growing less content with not getting Tottenham striker Harry Kane.

With just one year remaining on his contract, Kane is the top target for United as they look to add a new forward.

The 29-year-old has been sought by Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, but Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has not indicated that he is willing to part with him.

Rasmus Hojlund of Atalanta is one of the players under discussion in the younger group. The Red Devils may then switch their focus to other options and try to sign two strikers, one with pedigree and the other a rookie.

Hojlund, a 20-year-old forward, has five goals in four games for Denmark and is monitored by a slew of Premier League clubs.

Harry Kane, on the other hand, led Tottenham to 30 EPL goals this year, considering the difficulties his club faced. He needs 47 more goals to tie Alan Shearer's Premier League record.

Despite having Marcus Rashford available, United still need a forward because Anthony Martial has only scored six league goals this season and Wout Weghorst hasn't had much success since signing on loan from Burnley.

The fact that United and Mason Mount of Chelsea have reached a personal agreement brings them much closer to signing a midfielder.

Amid speculation from Manchester United, Declan Rice seems more likely to sign with Arsenal. It's doubtful that the Red Devils will have the money to get Rice, Mount, and one or two attackers.
