Real Madrid open to selling Federico Valverde for €90m amid interest from host of European clubs

Liverpool are keen on signing the Uruguayan midfielder
Liverpool are reportedly highly intrigued about buying Federico Valverde from Real Madrid, and the Spanish club are reportedly likely to sell him for €90.
With James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Naby Keita all leaving the Reds as free agents this summer, Jurgen Klopp is hoping to add at least a couple of additional midfielders.
This summer, a number of midfielders have been touted for a transfer out of Anfield after their role was identified as a significant factor in Liverpool's underwhelming season.
Following a strong season with the Seagulls and Argentina, the team with which he lifted the World Cup in the winter, Alexis Mac Allister was recently signed to the Premier League in a £35 million move from Brighton.
Additionally, yesterday it was reported by the Spanish newspaper Nacional that the Reds have made Real Madrid player Valverde a primary signing for this summer and are willing to spend €70 million for him to join them.
They argued that the Uruguayan international, who has also been connected to Manchester United, "can become the explosive player of the summer" due to the likelihood of his "surprise" departure from Real Madrid.
Under Carlo Ancelotti, the 24-year-old has begun to slip down the hierarchy as the preferred three midfielders for Real Madrid are newcomer Jude Bellingham, Eduardo Camavinga, and perhaps Toni Kroos or Luka Modric.
And now Nacional is again today with rumours that Jurgen Klopp's side has increased their proposal for Valverde from €70 million to €90 million, with Los Blancos chairman Perez considering accepting their most recent offer.
Liverpool "can capitalise on the uncertainties that surround the Uruguayan international," as Real Madrid finds it "very difficult to reject" their most recent offer.
According to the article, Valverde might be the "sacrifice" the Los Blancos needs to make in order to have the money to pursue Kylian Mbappe this summer. The Frenchman has entered the final season of his deal with Paris Saint-Germain.
But given that Valverde "does not seem ready to depart Madrid under any events," Liverpool may have a difficult time convincing him to go from the Bernabeu to Anfield.
