Sheikh Jassim could offer Ole Gunnar Solskjaer a 'role' if takeover is done

He managed the Red Devils from 2018-2021

If Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani is successful in acquiring Manchester United, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may be invited back into a role at the club.

Both Sheikh Jassim and British millionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe are anxiously awaiting the outcome of their protracted struggle for control of the club.

A deal wouldn't be legally sanctioned for eight to 12 weeks until the Glazer family determined who they wanted to sell to, which meant that new owners might not be in place before the next season.

If Sheikh Jassim's purchase attempt is successful, he is willing to involve former Manchester United players in the club's management.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, a former Man United player who is now their manager, is supposedly one of the legendary players being considered.

In 366 appearances for the Red Devils, the Norwegian scored 126 goals, helping them to six Premier League championships and a historic Champions League victory in 1999.

After three years in charge of the team, 50-year-old Solskjaer was fired in November 2021 due to a bad run of results.

The company Sheikh Jassim used to purchase United had been recorded at Companies House under the name Nine Two Foundation UK.

The action was reportedly taken as a reasonable step to make sure the appropriate preparations were made in the event that the Qatari group succeeded, rather than as a sign of any determination.
