Juventus are in advanced talks to sign USMNT youngster Timothy Weah from LOSC Lille as they look to rebuild their side.

Timothy Weah, the wide receiver who plays for the French side and the son of former AC Milan player George Weah, is the subject of advanced negotiations with Juventus, according to numerous reports outside of Italy via sources like Sky Italia's Gianluca Di Marzio and Fabrizio Romano.

According to the two Italian reports, the agreement is expected to cost the Italian club around €12 million. There are also rumours that the Italian club may try to integrate a player into the deal, particularly Denis Zakaria, in an effort to reduce the cost of the 23-year-old's transfer.

Following a productive discussion between the player's group and Juventus director of sport Giovanni Manna a few days ago, negotiations have advanced to the point of reaching a provisional agreement.

According to the report in La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Old Lady are also using it as a marketing strategy because they want a USMNT player to take Weston McKennie's spot.

Weah can play as a right wing-back or an aggressive winger across the right, so a 3-5-2 configuration and a 4-4-2 would both work for him.

His contract with Lille only lasts until June 2024. He was born in New York and represents the USA in international football.

The selling price, which is said to be around €15 million, is being negotiated by Juventus with the assistance of the 23-year-old forward and his representative.
