The legendary shirt at Santiago Bernabeu is now up for grabs as Eden Hazard left the team after being declared a free agent. Since 2019–20, he had held down No. 7 in Real's rankings.

Vinicius has witnessed his worth increase as Hazard struggled in the Spanish capital. The international from Brazil, who switched to Real from Flamengo in 2018, has emerged to be one of the world's most promising players.

He has already made 225 appearances and scored 59 goals for the Blancos at the age of just 22, in addition to the two La Liga championships and Champions League trophy he contributed to win.

When Fran Garcia returns to the Bernabeu from Rayo Vallecano, Vinicius will forfeit the number 20, which is anticipated to go to Garcia. Meanwhile, fellow Brazilian Rodrygo will move up from the number 21 position to the number 11 position.

Vinicius had a difficult 2022–2023 on the personal front because he was frequently the target of cruel racist remarks, but he won't be fleeing his tormentors; instead, he is anticipated to sign a new deal this summer that will maintain him in Madrid until 2027.

There is no denying that the racist crisis surrounding Vinicius created international headlines, and everyone is devoted to ending this issue, which has been going on for a while not just in Spain but all over the world.
