Al-Ettifaq offers £600,000-per-week contract to Wilfried Zaha

Crystal Palace are offering him a new deal
Wilfried Zaha has discussed a potential move to Saudi Arabia this summer to join the Saudi Pro League club Al-Ettifaq.
According to the Daily Mail, Zaha has apparently received a written offer from the Saudi Pro League team, Al-Ettifaq, which recently hired Steven Gerrard as their head coach. They plan to pay him £16 million ($20 million) each season.
The report further claims that the player's representation requested a raise of £7.5 million ($9.6 million), but the club rejected their request.
According to a source familiar with the project, "there is not a bottomless pit of money and we will not be held to ransom."
The Ivory Coast international's deal with Crystal Palace ended on July 1 when he declined to sign a new one for £200,000 per week, making him a free agent at the moment.
Wilfried Zaha's excessive salary demands apparently caused Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr to back out of a potential transfer.
Aside from the Saudi clubs, Paris Saint-Germain, Atletico Madrid, Napoli, Lazio, and Fenerbahce have all expressed interest in the player. However, none of these clubs will match the Saudi Pro League teams' asking prices.
It should be noted that other teams are also keen on the former Manchester United attacker, in addition to Al-Ettifaq.
According to reports, the Ivorian has been contacted by Lazio and Fenerbahce about a transfer. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace has made him an offer of £200,000 a week in an effort to persuade him to stay at Selhurst Park.
