Bayern Munich players furious with Kyle Walker’s contract offer

Manchester City's full-back is close to a Bundesliga move
The club's proposal for Kyle Walker (two years plus one year) has caused annoyance in the Bayern Munich locker room.
Because even superstars like Neuer and Müller weren't granted an exception, the club violated its own internal rule prohibiting contracts longer than one year for players 30 years of age or older.
At this point, it's probably necessary to work out the specifics of what this internal rule entails. Mané, for instance, arrived from Liverpool FC during the summer transfer window and was offered a deal through 2025, which was after the Senegalese winger turned 30.
Kyle Walker, 33, is being used in Thomas Tuchel's defensive formation as a new right-back. Might the England international and superstar of Manchester City really agree to a shorter contract in order to depart the Premier League?
Walker's contract at City expires in a year, and it was inevitable that he would agree to an agreement renewal with the European and English winners.
But after Bayern Munich's contact, he appears to have changed his mind because it has been said that he has reached a verbal deal with the Bundesliga team.
Kyle Walker served an important part in City's treble-winning period, recording 39 appearances as they won the Champions League, Premier League, and FA Cup.
Walker's contract is until 2025, and given that Gvardiol could join City, which certainly limits the England International game, it will be wise for him to join Bayern Munich and try a new challenge.
It is easy to understand the Bundesliga's powerhouse clubs' stance because it is unlikely that they could convince the right-back to transfer without first offering a profitable, longer-term contract.
Guardiola and the England international will talk about his predicament as they begin preseason training. On July 23, City will play Yokohama F. Marinos.
Walker may soon call the Allianz Arena home, but it doesn't appear like he will immediately become one of the team's most well-liked players.
