Earlier, it was reported his dogs could scupper Al Ittihad's move but that's not the case

According to the Atheltic, Fabinho's proposed move to the Saudi Arabian club is in jeopardy, but it's not related to his dogs.

The anticipated move of Fabinho from Liverpool to Saudi Arabia's Al Ittihad is in doubt. All sides have agreed to a settlement and are currently in talks.

However, there is a delay, and the 29-year-old must begin training on Wednesday, barring an earlier breakthrough. Nothing at all to do with his dogs

All parties are still committed to making the proposed £40 million ($52 million) deal happen for the 29-year-old midfielder. Al Ittihad are still interested in signing him, and talks and negotiations are still ongoing.

The 29-year-old spent five years at Anfield, where he made 219 appearances for the senior team. Fabinho, who usually plays at the heart of a three-man midfield, was crucial to Jurgen Klopp's team's success when they won the Champions League in 2019 and their first league victory in a decade the following year.

The Brazilian international won seven titles during his tenure on Merseyside, those two being among them. Jordan Henderson, who has been promised an absurd £700,000 per week salary to join the Saudi Pro League team Al-Ittifaq, are additionally linked with a relocation to the Saudi top division, where he may join him.

The actions are part of a new plan by Saudi Arabian leaders to attract well-known players to the nation. Since Cristiano Ronaldo was recruited by Al-Nassr in January following the Portuguese superstar's departure from Manchester United, the Middle Eastern country's football culture has generated a lot of buzz.

The Jeddah-based Al-Ittihad may have made the most notable hires during this summer's transfer window. Along with current Ballon d'Or winner Karim Benzema, who arrived from Real Madrid, former Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante, and Portuguese forward Jota, who came from Celtic, they are trying to recruit.
