Joao Felix, a former Chelsea loanee who lost his No. 7 jersey at Atletico Madrid, is said to be aiming to make a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

Felix completed the second half of his previous campaign at Stamford Bridge, making 16 appearances and scoring four goals, but failing to contribute to the team's success.

It was anticipated that he would sign an ongoing deal with the Blues, but the newly appointed Mauricio Pochettino decided to send him back to Atletico in order that he could concentrate on other goals.

Additionally, based on the Spanish club's most recent roster figures, it does not seem that they will be relying on him for the upcoming season.

Felix has sported the No. 7 jersey ever since his £113 million transfer from Benfica in 2019. The number was formerly used by Antoine Griezmann amid his first stint at the club, but it has since been assigned to him.

According to Relevo, Diego Simeone, the head coach of Atletico Madrid, and Felix do not want to collaborate once more, knowing the Spanish club played free-flowing football without his assistance and finished third in the table.

The Portuguese is especially interested in the PSG project, according to AS, and could join them given they have appointed Luis Enrique as next manager.

The 23-year-old's present deal will run out in 2027, and Atletico Madrid are asking for a transfer fee of around £85 million, which would be a club record.

There is currently no indication that a team will be willing to pay that much, and Los Rojiblancos will hang onto him if no reasonable offer comes in.
