'King Kazu' will remain with Portuguese second-division team Oliveirense for an additional year, the club confirmed on social media. This implies that the Japanese footballer will play professionally at least until he is 57 years old.

He first transferred to Oliveirense in January from J1 League team Yokohama FC on loan. He earned his professional debut in a 4-1 victory for Academico de Viseu in a Liga Portugal 2 encounter.

He won the match's Man of the Match award after playing the final 20 minutes as his club defeated Leixoes 4-3 in the season's final league encounter.

following the game, Miura asserted that he has no intention to hang up his boots anytime soon. "I intend to play until I'm 60," he told to Sports TV.

Miura is a household name in Japan and had the chance to perform on the same stage as superstars like Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, and Lionel Messi when Paris Saint-Germain visited Japan in 2022.

Even before the preseason exhibition game between PSG and Kawasaki Frontale at National Stadium on 20 July 2022, he set the match ball in place at the halfway point.

He won the game's Man of the Match award after playing the final 20 minutes as his club defeated Leixoes 4-3 in the final league match of the season.

Despite just making three professional outings throughout the campaign, Miura said following the game that he intended to continue his extraordinary career.
