Liverpool open talks with PSG to sign Kylian Mbappe on loan

The Premier League side is interested in signing the Frenchman
Kylian Mbappe could be on his way to the Premier League, as Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain are in discussions on a spectacular loan deal for the striker.
PSG are furious that Mbappe turned down the opportunity to speak with Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia after the French champions approved their world-record-breaking £259 million offer. But they also worry that Mbappe may defect to Real Madrid for nothing in a year.
Mbappe can leave Paris, generate income for PSG, and complete his dream transfer to Real Madrid with the help of a one-year loan contract that Liverpool are prepared to extend to him.
Mbappe's admiration for the team and the knowledge that his mother, Fayza Lamari, is a die-hard Kop supporter have given the Reds hope.
"We talked a little bit, but not too much," he told the Telegraph last year. "We talked a little bit. I talked to Liverpool because it's the favourite club of my mum, my mum loves Liverpool. "I don't know why, you will have to ask her! It's a good club and we met them five years ago. When I was in Monaco I met them. It's a big club."
'I don't know why, you will have to ask her! It's a good club and we met them five years ago. When I was in Monaco I met them. It's a big club.'
Mbappe frequently praises Jurgen Klopp, the manager of Liverpool, and he and his representatives had transfer talks with Liverpool before deciding to join PSG after leaving Monaco.
After Mbappe called PSG a "divisive club" in an interview with France Football magazine, things reached a boiling point. When asked if he thought his PSG performances had been minimised, Mbappe responded, "Yes, but I don't blame them.
All parties profit from Liverpool's offer since it allows Mbappe to move to Madrid next year and allows PSG to earn money while also allowing Mbappe to leave Paris.
It will be unlikely that Mbappe will join the Reds, as a player of his calibre would want to play in the Champions League, which the Reds can't offer him next season as they will participate in the Europa League.
