Luis Enrique set to be presented as new PSG manager tomorrow

Ligue 1 champions parted ways with Christophe Galtier
According to reports, a termination deal for Christophe Galtier has been reached, and Luis Enrique will soon take over as manager of Paris Saint-Germain and be presented as their head coach tomorrow.
ESPN reports that Luis Enrique's contract with PSG has been finalised, and he has already started working on team leadership and new recruitment targets.
After Galtier's resignation is made public this week, the Spaniard is expected to be formally appointed to the vacant Parc des Princes managerial position.
Following Spain's elimination from the 2022 World Cup, Luis Enrique became a free agent. At Barcelona, where he previously enjoyed notable success, he won the Champions League, La Liga championship, and Copa del Rey in his inaugural campaign.
During his time at Camp Nou, he won two more Copa del Rey championships in addition to a second La Liga title.
Luis Enrique had previously been linked to Tottenham Hotspur, but negotiations with the Premier League team broke down, giving PSG the chance to pounce.
Galtier, in the meantime, lost the confidence of the PSG board following another unsuccessful Champions League campaign that saw the French team eliminated in the round of 16 for the second year in a row. He has also experienced legal issues.
Galtier and his son, John Valovic-Galtier, were detained for interrogation in relation to claims that they made racist and anti-Muslim remarks while working at Nice.
While Galtier was ordered to appear in court in December on allegations of psychological harassment and discrimination, his son was discharged without being charged. He may receive a maximum penalty of three years in prison and a $49,000 fine if convicted.
The aggressive possession-based strategy of Luis Enrique is reportedly something that PSG managers Luis Campos and Nasser Al-Khelaifi love and hope can help them win the Champions League.
