World Cup winner Lisandro Martinez was also spotted in training

Following the beginning of preseason practice, Manchester United squad members made their way to Carrington early this morning.

Stars who did not participate in the June international competitions are anticipated to return; Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane, and Antony were the ones spotted earlier today returning at the club's practice facility.

The individuals who represented their nation last month are scheduled to come back later. Only one day after the Red Devils sealed the £60 million acquisition of Mason Mount from Chelsea, practice has resumed.

Mason Greenwood, the next step at the club is unknown and is still the subject of an internal inquiry, is one player who hasn't come back to training.

After his detention on charges of rape and violence, Greenwood has been on a leave of absence since January 2022.

despite the fact that the criminal justice system dismissed all allegations in early February, the 21-year-old hasn't been permitted to play or practise with his United colleagues since then.

Greenwood's status at United remains up in the air, but Mail Sport reported last month that a potential option being considered is to send the 21-year-old to a European club for the upcoming season. Spain, Italy, or Turkey are some of the possibilities.

Several rookies, including Antony, Fred, Anthony Martial, Donny van de Beek, Tom Heaton, and Amad Diallo, were also present at Carrington this morning as well.

Among the players on the international tour in June were Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw, Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes, Diogo Dalot, Victor Lindelof, Anthony Elanga, Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Scott McTominay, Alejandro Garnacho, Tyrell Malacia, Facundo Pellistri, Alex Telles, and Eric Bailly.

In order to complete their recovery from chronic injuries, Henderson, Martinez, Van van Beek, Antony, and prodigy Kobbie Mainoo had made their way back to United's training facility over the previous week.
