Manchester United announce travelling squad for USA pre-season tour 2023

The Red Devils will be looking to build on a strong 2022-23 campaign
Erik ten Hag's Manchester United have revealed a 31-man travelling squad for their pre-season 2023 tour of United States.
After of couple of pre-season club friendlies in Scotland against Leeds United and Lyon, in which they won 2-0 and 1-0 respectively, the two groups training in Carrington and Edinburgh will meet up to travel to the United States.
Their pre-season tour will also be a part of the Soccer Champions Tour exhibition series.
The pre-season fixtures are expected to get their players returning from international duty get up to match fitness level.
Manchester United's pre-season squad for the USA tour is.-
Goalkeepers: Nathan Bishop, Tom Heaton, Dean Henderson, Radek Vitek.
Defenders: Diogo Dalot, Alvaro Fernandez, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire, Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw, Raphael Varane, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Brandon Williams.
Midfielders: Amad, Antony, Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Bruno Fernandes, Dan Gore, Hannibal, Kobbie Mainoo, Scott McTominay, Mason Mount, Facundo Pellistri, Jadon Sancho, Donny van de Beek.
Forwards: Anthony Elanga, Omari Forson, Alejandro Garnacho, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford.
The Pre-season tour will be interesting to see, especially after new signings like Mason Mount. However, it must be noted that new goalkeeper Andre Onana is not part of the tour.
Their fixtures on the tour include:
22 July – vs Arsenal
25 July – vs Wrexham AFC
26 July – vs Real Madrid
30 July – vs Borussia Dortmund
The match against Real Madrid will be a part of Soccer Champions exhibition series.
The Red Devils will come back to the United Kingdom for their last two pre-season fixtures. –
5 August - vs Lens (Old Trafford)
6 August – vs Athletic Club (Dublin)
After their pre-season tour, Th Red devils will be seen in action in their first Premier League fixture against Wolves at Old Trafford on 14th august.
Erik Ten Hag’s team will try to improve upon their 3rd place finish in the Premier League- in 2022-2023, the season in which United’s six year old trophy drought came to an end after they won the Carabao Cup.
