Paul Pogba could miss opening matches for Juventus in 2023-24 season

The French midfielder is struggling with injuries
Paul Pogba is still recovering from an injury, and it's unlikely that he'll be ready for Juventus' Serie A 2023-24 next month.
Juventus are currently in an instructional camp in the United States, but they will play their initial match of the season against Udinese in August. Despite the postponement of their warmup game with Barcelona, Pogba's condition is still not ideal.
Pogba continues to struggle with the first team since his fitness is still behind those of the others, according to Gianluca di Marzio's Pazzi di Fanta. When the Barcelona encounter was scheduled to take place, Max Allegri prepared a training session, but Pogba opted not to participate.
Currently, his training primarily entails individualised work on the exercise bike in the gym or preparing himself on the pitch.
He has reportedly been dealing with a knee issue for a year, and it hasn't completely gone away. He won't likely be ready for the Udinese match and will need a few more days to get well.
At the beginning of 2023, Pogba experienced a muscular issue after recovering from a chronic knee ailment in the middle of the previous season.
After making a comeback in March, he was forced to leave the pitch after just 25 minutes of Juventus' 2-0 victory over Cremonese, a team fighting for its playoff lives.
Even though Pogba started working out again last week, he won't play for Juventus on their tour of the United States.
The 30-year-old is working out in the gym on his own, practising apart from the rest of the team. Unfortunately, his recovery won't be complete in time for the August 20 trip by the Bianconeri to Udinese.
Juventus have, however, extended the benefit of the doubt to their top player. Next season, they will rely on him, according to new CEO Cristiano Giuntoli. But Pogba must first return to full fitness.
