For the very first period of time, Norway advanced to the elimination rounds, joining Italy, Spain, and Portugal in the 2023 UEFA European Under-19 Championship semifinal roster.

The most chances were produced by José Lana's team, but a competitive game at the National Stadium ended in a draw.
Portugal and Italy run to the semi-final
In Group A Portugal finished on top of the group with nine points and were already qualified for the semi-final spot while coming second in the group with four points. However, Italy's defeat came against Portugal as they lost 5-1 to the Portuguese side.
Meanwhile, the Selecao did a clean sweep in Group A, showing their dominance and hinting at their clear frontrunners to win the tournament.
Spain and Norway run to semi-final
Spain finished Group B at the summit and Norway came second, The La Roja earned seven points winning two and drawing one, while Norway claimed five points, winning once and drawing twice.
Both will have different opponents in the semi-final and if they beat their respective opposition then Spain and Norway can once again meet in the final of U19 Euros.
