The Brazilain is set to go for another medical test after the player wasn't fully fit
Following his most recent serious injury, there are worries that Neymar's tenure at Paris Saint-Germain may be coming to an end soon.
When the Brazilian returned from his vacation, he failed his medical exam, and it was believed that the athlete had not entirely recovered from his ankle ailment.
The majority of his ailments since joining Barcelona in 2013 have all involved his ankle, which is obviously a trouble spot for the player.
Neymar will have lost 731 days due to injury throughout his time at PSG, if you count the three to four months it will require him to heal from this fresh ailment. That equates to about two years when you are not available for selection.
The rumours of the Brazilian's future outside of Paris had already started before the injury.
Neymar's success following the World Cup in Qatar was thought to have PSG seriously thinking about selling the player.
Le Parisien says that PSG chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi wanted to sell Neymar to Chelsea for a price of 60 million euros. The player's high pay and refusal to agree to leave presented an issue during the talks.
Despite the fact that Neymar's name frequently appears in transfer reports, the Brazilian star does not intend to leave PSG until at least June 30, 2027, when his contract with the team expires.
L'Equipe, a French publication, reports that the striker has made it quite apparent that he will stick to his word.
It is still unclear what is going to occur, but the fact that Neymar won't be available for selection until the end of the summer transfer period doesn't assist his cause.
