Manchester United are also chasing the Atalanta striker

Paris St. Germain (PSG) have submitted their first bid for Rasmus Hojlund. The French giants have offered €50 million for Atalanta's striker.

According to the Athletic, the Serie A club are demanding a high fee for their young attacker. PSG's bid of €50 million is their one and only bid as per the report.

Manchester United are also in the race to sign Hojlund. They submitted a verbal offer of €50 million plus €10 million as add-ons for the Danish international.

The 20-year-old has already indicated to Atalanta that he wants to leave the club and the Athletic had also reported that Erik ten Hag's team agreed preliminary personal terms with him.

The Serie A club has already rejected United's offer of money plus players offer for Hojlund earlier in July. They insisted on a straight cash agreement.

Rasmus Hojlund moved to the Serie A last summer. In his debut season in Italy, the forward scored eight times and assisted for two goals in 31 appearances.

PSG are in pursuit of a striker after Kylian Mbappe announced his intentions to leave the club in 2024. The French club have the fear of losing him for free next summer. So, they have made plans to sell him in the summer of 2023.

It was reported earlier this week that Al Hilal have submitted a massive offer of €300 million for the Frenchman and PSG accepted that offer.

However, Mbappe has no intention to leave Europe. Real Madrid is the next possible destination for the Frenchman. They have not made any bid for him in this transfer window.

Atalanta are demanding around €70 million for the 20-year-old striker. Manchester United will be happy as this is expected to be the only bid from the French club. The Italian club is waiting for the right price for their player.
