Bayern are also keen on offloading the former Liverpool ace

Sadio Mane's agents reportedly met with the Athletic Director of Al Nassr, Goran Vucevic, at the Pine Cliffs Hotel in Portugal to talk about the possibility of joining the Saudi Pro League club, as reported by the Athletic.

The Senegalese forward is presently in Portugal with Bayern as the Bundesliga powerhouses get ready for the next season.

The 31-year-old only transferred from Liverpool to the Bavarian club last summer in a £35 million move, and his present deal is good through 2025.

This summer, Cristiano Ronaldo's team, Al Nassr, already acquired Marcelo Brozovic from Inter Milan and Seko Fofana from Lens. They are close to finalising a deal to acquire Alex Telles, a fullback for Manchester United.

In his brief stint at Bayern Munich, Sadio Mane was unsuccessful in scoring just seven goals in 25 Bundesliga games. Because of a leg injury incurred in November, he also had to miss many Bayern matches in addition to the World Cup.

The incident involving teammate Leroy Sane in April, which resulted in Mane's suspension and fine from Bayern, was the attacker's most significant experience while living in Germany.

Sadio Mane and Ronaldo have a history together, and the former has acknowledged that Ronaldo supported Mane's choice to depart Liverpool and join Bayern Munich last summer.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner assured Mane the transfer would be suitable when the two ran into each other while on vacation in Spain at the time.

The Saudi Pro League club is looking to strengthen their squad after finishing second in the league last season. Marcelo Brozovic and Seko Fofana have already been added to the midfield. They will face a tough challenge from Al Ittihad, who themselves recruited some of the best players from Europe.
