Simon Adingra started his football career in Ghana. After he graduated from the Right to Dream academy, the then 18-year-old joined Danish side Nordsjaelland in 2020. He became a regular for them in the coming season before being signed by Brighton in 2022 on a four-year deal.
On his arrival to Brighton, he was quickly loaned out to Brighton’s sister club Union SG in Belgium, where he netted 14 goals throughout the season was instrumental in Union SG coming in as runners-up in the Belgian Pro League.
Adingra’s loan spell has ended, and he is back with Brighton’s first team. He has been a regular feature in Brighton’s preseason fixtures, featuring against Chelsea and Brentford. The game against Brentford saw him scoring both the goals, a game which Brighton won. Brighton manager De Zerb has fuelled speculation that he might have the central role to play in the upcoming season.
