Tottenham open to handing Harry Kane '£400,000 per week contract'

Harry Kane has been linked with a move away from WHite Hart Lane

If Harry Kane declines to move to Bayern Munich, Tottenham reportedly have a new deal worth £400,000 per week waiting for him.

Given that Kane's current contract is slated to end in 2024, Tottenham are attempting to tie him up to a for a long time agreement despite Bayern Munich's continued efforts to woo him to Germany.

Kane will be among the highest-paid players in the Premier League if he confirms the rest of his life to Spurs, with the possibility of weekly pay of £400,000, claims to The Telegraph.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is adamant about keeping Kane on staff despite Bayern Munich's interest. The sports endeavour under the new leadership of Ange Postecoglou is seen to be more important to Kane's decision than the deal's financial side.

Additionally, Kane is rumoured to have already talked to Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel, who reportedly gave him the assurance that if he moved to Germany, they might be able to win the Champions League together.

Postecoglou acknowledged that chairman Levy had not given him any guarantees on Kane's future and that he "is kind of going along, trying to concentrate on things I know right now."

After their initial bid was rejected, Bayern are said to have made a second offer of £70 million ($90 million) with add-ons. Levy might not be persuaded, though, as Spurs are said to seek £100 million for the England international.

Despite being the all-time leading scorer for both club and country, Kane has yet to claim a major prize at the age of 30.

This is considered to be a major factor in his decision to leave the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, as Ange Postecoglou's Lilywhites are predicted to be in transition this season without the ability to keep up at the highest level.
